Orangehouse Renewables is owned and managed by Alex Driver who personally oversees every project. We have teams of highly experienced engineers who have installed and serviced most types of domestic and commercial heating systems but we specialise in renewable heating systems and our main passion is heat pumps!
We are not tied to any specific manufacturers; we employ a best of breed approach for every project we undertake. This means that we will always recommend and install what we believe is the most suitable hardware for your project requirements and budget.
Orangehouse Renewables is fully accredited by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and is signed up with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) consumer protection scheme. Our MCS accreditation means our installations qualify for the Renewable Heat Incentive payments where applicable. We are also proud to be members of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA).
We appreciate that renewable energy systems present a significant investment decision and there is usually a lot of things to consider when installing one. We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity, we will only recommend installing a renewable energy system for your property if your property is suitable for one!
Please feel free to get in touch by telephone or email; we are always happy do a survey of your property.
Apprentice of the Year 2015 - Highly Commended
We are delighted to announce that George Houghton was Highly Commended in the "Apprentice of the Year” category at the Heating & Renewables Awards. These are national awards for the entire heating industry. George was endorsed at a gala ceremony in front of 800 people at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. George is undertaking his day release plumbing Apprenticeship at New College Stamford.
Alex Driver, Director of Orangehouse Renewables, said,” We’re absolutely delighted for George. He’s a great chap who works hard and gets really positive comments from our clients and his college tutors. George does his best with the wide range of activities we ask him to undertake on client projects but he also built our raft for the Deepings Raft Race. Using pallets and plastic drums that we had left over from projects, together with our other apprentice he built the raft that completed the course and he’s already planning next year's entry. George got through to the final four; being awarded “Highly Commended" shows how close he came to winning."
It's not the best photo, which is a shame as he doesn't get to dress so smartly during the day-job!
NHIC - Best Home Energy Efficient Solution
We are proud to announce that we have been awarded winners of the Best Home Energy Efficiency Solution by the NHIC. The NHIC is a prestigious organisation that has been championing energy efficiency and improvements in homes for over forty years.
Renewable Energy Awards - Shortlisted
We are pleased to have been shortlisted for the Renewable Energy Awards.
Alex Driver said, “We’re all really proud to have been shortlisted and are looking forward to the awards ceremony in September. Orangehouse gained the demanding Government-backed Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standard earlier this year. This means systems comply with safety and installation standards; will perform efficiently for years to come and gives the customer confidence in their investment. It also allows Orangehouse clients to qualify for the attractive financial incentives available for homes and businesses.”
