Hotly Tipped for National Award

Energy prices seem to be continually rising and many people are looking at other energy sources to reduce their costs and carbon emissions. Local company Orangehouse Renewables have been working hard helping homes and businesses achieve these aims. This effort has been recognised through being shortlisted for the prestigious national Renewables Awards.

The Stamford-based company specialise in supplying heat pump systems. Heat pumps collect energy from the air or ground to provide efficient heating and hot water for new or existing buildings that usually have not got mains gas.

Alex Driver said, “We’re all really proud to have been shortlisted and are looking forward to the awards ceremony in September. Orangehouse gained the demanding Government-backed Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standard earlier this year. This means systems comply with safety and installation standards; will perform efficiently for years to come and gives the customer confidence in their investment. It also allows Orangehouse clients to qualify for the attractive financial incentives available for homes and businesses.”
