Survey and Quotation

When you contact us we will have a general conversation about renewable energy technologies and their suitability for your project. Usually we will then meet you to understand your project and requirements. For existing properties this is the opportunity to carry out a survey, for new-builds we can easily work from the project drawings.

For heat pump projects it is important to consider where heat pump plant such as ground collectors, cylinders or an outdoor air source unit could be sited.

Our initial site visit and budgetary quotation will be free of charge and include budgetary installation costs with estimated running costs and likely income that may be available under the government's Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. Multiple designs, revisions or larger schemes will be charged at a rate of £50 excluding VAT per hour or on a consultancy basis as per our schedule of rates, which will be discounted from the contract price i.e. there is no charge if a project proceeds. A detailed heat loss and full quotation, including ground loop design where applicable, would be charged at £500 excluding VAT on a similar refundable basis.

If we prepare a full set of MCS compliant contract documents and for some reason the project does not proceed we reserve the right to charge £600 excluding VAT to cover the considerable time and effort that we will have invested.

We take great pride in our systems and so want to make sure that we are on hand if you have any issues. We typically work no more than 90 minutes drive from where one of our engineering teams are based. We are a growing company and are recruiting engineers in different areas of the country. If we believe you are too far away then we would rather point you in the direction of a local installation company than leave you with without adequate post-installation support.

We are passionate about renewable heating systems and their correct installation; we are always happy to have a conversation about a project, and we will be honest if we don't think renewables are suitable for your project.
